All Unbound Visual Arts (UVA) members (artists and art enthusiasts) are invited and encouraged to submit proposals for 1-2 month solo or group exhibitions sponsored by Unbound Visual Arts. Since its first exhibit in 2012, Unbound Visual Arts has already presented over 68 professionally curated and theme-based group and solo exhibitions. These exhibitions have resulted in many sales and a great deal of publicity, including 10 getting recommended by The Boston Globe, WBUR’s ARTery as well many other media outlets. Please note that at the present time, UVA does not own or manage any exhibition spaces and therefore must first secure such spaces in order to organize all of its exhibitions. Therefore, it is recommended that all proposals identify exhibition venues for consideration.
UVA is a a local non-profit art organization that enriches the community with educational and inspiring exhibitions and programs. All members will have many opportunities to be included in UVA’s many exhibitions. UVA wants its artists to be able to focus their time and energy on their art. So, an artist that is part of a UVA exhibition can expect that:
- All exhibition installations and de-installations are managed by UVA
- All publicity, including postcard and website pages, is managed by UVA
- All opening receptions are managed by UVA and include live music and refreshments
- All exhibitions are placed on UVA’s website for public viewing and purchase.
- All exhibitions are professionally organized and curated
- All exhibitions are covered by art insurance
Once we receive your proposal, UVA’s Exhibitions Committee will review it. It we need additional information, we’ll let you know. We will do our best to organize an exhibition for you at one of your preferred venues and during your preferred time frame. Also, if you have a suggested venue other than those listed, please let us know. Thank you for your interest. AT THE END OF THIS FORM, PLEASE BE SURE TO HIT “SUBMIT”.
